    Hi hill_Iam,

This is expected if you have used a Background override image in Vantage as glossy reflection/refraction is not currently supported for Background images. The Use for refraction/mirror reflections option in the Background rollout is used only for pure (meaning 1.0 in value, anything below is glossy) reflections and refractions - it will use the environment map and not the background one. You can check here with a sample scene, the front 2 spheres have glossy(<1) reflection and refraction and the back ones have pure(=1) reflections/refractions https://imgsli.com/MjE2MTAw/0/2 . So this is not a bug, this is how it currently works until we improve the Use for refraction/mirror reflections option to work with glossy refractions/reflections(LAV-1650). You can check this thread here where it was initially discussed https://forums.chaos.com/forum/chaos...on-not-working

    Best regards,
    Alexander
