Hi there!
I've been trying to get a good result with Vantage, but to no avail. Here are two examples:
Nvidia denoiser, 1500 samples, 700x200 resolution:

Intel denoiser. 2000 samples, 1400x400 resolution, LC retrace threshold 20:

Settings:
I even tried with 4000 samples, with the reflection and refraction bounces up to 15 and 4 GI bounces, but the issue remains. I've seen animations made in Vantage in youtube that are very high quality, but I just can't achieve that.
I know that the Nvidia Optix AI denoiser is better for animations, since it can reduce flicker; however, when I use this denoiser I have a bug, where the last frames blend with the current ones, creating a ghost effect. Furthermore, with the Nvidia denoiser there usually remains speckled noise.
Can someone help me?
Software:
- 3ds Max 2024
- Vray 6, update 2
- Corona 10 hotfix 2
- Chaos Vantage 2.5.1
- Nvidia Drivers 561.09
- Windows 11
Hardware:
- CPU - AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970x
- GPU - Nvidia RTX 3090
