  • visible cross shadow ground plane at origin

I have an issue with my ground plane. We render a lot of machinery in a white environment. We use a simple white plane for the shadows. I often get a cross in my shadow. This is right at the origin of my scene.

Do you have any explanation for this problem?

We've seen this issue before, yes (LAV-50). Moving the object a bit away from (0,0,0) should help.

Thank you, this made the problem considerably less. A light spot is still visible at the 0,0,0 point, though.

Do you have ambient occlusion enabled?
