Hi guys!
I am wondering if it is possible to "Render Animation with Chaos Vantage" on a Vantage instance that is running on another computer in the network. Just like Live-Link can easily be setup to run an another machine just modifying the vrayrt_dr.cfg file.
Why would it be wonderful? because then, I can place my super_noisy-hair_dryer GPU computer in a separate room, and I can send animations from other silent cheaper computers.
I am a MaxScript enthusiast, so I've been taking a look at the dcc_scripts "Vantage-LiveLink.ms" and files and "Vantage-UtilityFunctions.ms" and found the problem of (the lack of) communication between the remote Vantage to the local 3dsMax.
Is there a way to solve this? Haven't this been implemented for a reason or am I alone in this request?.
Thank you very much!!
Keep up the good work!
Galen
