Hello Chaos Group Team,
it is currently very unbalanced und absolutely not fair that a user have to pay the same price for a node licence, whether he own a 4c/8t or a 32c/64t core render node.
Just a few years ago it was absolutely normal and contemporary to invest in several nodes with i7-6700k or i7-7700k processors.
Many users own exactly such a small render farm. These systems are still powerful enough and absolutely sufficient running in bucket mode.
More importantly, it is really unfair to force someone to replace the nodes with new ones, for which you have to spend a considerable amount of money.
I think, that a lot of users who are still working using vray 3.6 until today, couldn't switch to Next for financial reasons and that many of them own exactly a small, just few year old, render farm like descirbed above. The price per core would make it easier for them to upgrade to the current version.
Please offer that pricing very soon,
Kind regards
algato
