Could not obtain a license (-198) Please help

hi. i have max 2016 and 2018 and all of a sudden i can't use vray and getting the
error (-19 all the licenses for this product are engaged.i reinstalled V-ray and upgraded to licence server 5.1.2 but still no good.
inoticed that even when i restart my pc and no max is running in the background after a fresh boot in the online license it says that i have 1 in USE for some reason even if max and vray are not running.
Please help me fix this problme.

Make sure you're using the EDU builds for V-Ray for 3dsMax - https://download.chaosgroup.com/?pro...cense_type=edu
If you still get the error after reinstalling - it'll be best to write us at support@chaosgroup.com

yes i am using theEDU build. you can see at my screenshots that it says VRAY edu next. i reinstalled.. no good so far.
