after migrating licenses: could not obtain a license (-200)

Hello Guys,

after migrating my two licenses from the Dongles i am not able to obtain a License any more.
Although the online License Server Shows 2 Licenses and i can manage it through localhost:30304
The exeption for the firewal is also set.

Can anyone help me out how to obtain a License again ?

Hello,

Can you please check if the correct IP address is set under the "Chaos Group License Server information" window:

If the license server is running on the same workstation please use the IP 127.0.0.1 as the primary license server address.

In case you are obtaining the license from a license server running on a remote computer please make sure that you are using the correct IP.
If you are using dynamically assigned IP addresses without reservation (they might change at some point) please use the Hostname of the computer running the license server instead.

If you are still getting an error (-200) afterwards please reinstall the license server using the latest version available here:
https://download.chaosgroup.com/license-server

Hi Mahail,

thanks for your answer. i updated to the License Server 5.1.2 and i can see the licenses online.
the Server is running on the same machine and the IP i set to 127.0.0.1 but 3ds max still can´t obtain a License.
i get the same message telling me the License Server could not be reached.
