  • License Server not appearing in Browser

I installed the License Server at home. VRay Next for maya works, no problems. But http://localhost:30304 displays a blank page on every browser I try. I logged into work with remote desktop and 1 license was "in use" as expected, I just can't display the license server at home?

When I stop the license server, I get a cannot find page error, so it's there, I just can't see it.

    Laptop running Windows10
Connected to the internet via WiFi.

Is http://localhost:30304 not available via WiFi. Is it a router setting I need to configure?

    Thanks.

This might happen if there's incorrect cache in the browser - try clearing it.
Also - if you've installed ELS (enterprise version) of the license server - it doesn't have GUI and shows a blank page. It also has no offline mode and is used to handle huge amounts of license request (e.g. 1000 licenses or more).
    Try to:

    - Uninstall the license server from Control Panel
    - Delete "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup" folder
    - Install this license server build and log in with your username and password - https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...dalone-522-adv
