Intermittent Distributed rendering problem with my second render node?

Hi Guys.
Running into a problem of all of sudden today with a big scene that i'm trying to render on my main PC and also bring my 2nd PC / Render node into play. Never had issues before - but keep getting this error as per screen grab. If I reboot and load a smaller scene - it sometimes works / sometimes doesn't - don't know how to proceed as it's behaved greta for ages - and now this? I have the dongle in my main PC and the render node pointed to the IP of my main machine - as normal?
