  • Error -200 license server could not be reached... and started!

Quite strange, after a restart of macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave) the license server is not working anymore. I installed latest V-Ray 4.0 next and latest V-ray license server (5.0) and still it won't work. I have never had problems of that kind and no idea how to fix that else. Restart didn't work too. Typing http://localhost:30304/#/ comes with an error, not available. I was working with V-Ray just a few minutes before restarting my computer, nothing else happened. PANIC !!!

Further checking. I have a license for Modo and one for C4D both times license server can't be reached. Which is of course logical as it seem to be unable to start. I guess its some security update Apple done to macOS ?
Checking on Windows, the licenses there work. Well, not a solution.

      Ok, found it !!!
Dear folks, its your fault ... Going back to license Server 5.4.0 solved the issue.
Tried again Server 5.5 doesn't work on Mojave anymore !!!!

I do have it running on Mojave here. What happens if you sign out from online licensing, then install 5.5.0 license server and log back in?

Its quite simple. If I install Server 5.5 all is still running. If I restart my computer, the server is not ruining anymore. I tried it manual and didn't work. The only thing that worked was installing the 5.4 version. I really had an hour fight here and I do not want to repeat it. If I had a second system for testing I would do that.

Sorry for the trouble you had to go through. It's possible that something messed up the service file. I can't reproduce it, unfortunately. If you feel like troubleshooting at some point - let us know. Otherwise - 5.4.0 should work as well.
