My main computer died, so I've migrated things over to my 8 year old laptop until I get things sorted out. Can't seem to get VRay working though. Any tips?

In order to work with V-Ray, you will need to activate your license in the V-Ray license server web interface "127.0.0.1:30304"
Make sure that you installed V-Ray and V-Ray Online license server 5.5.2 (if you did not already install it):
      https://download.chaosgroup.com/?platform=47&product=48
then please open in your web browser "127.0.0.1:30304" and see if you are able to Enable your Online licensing
with your username or your e-mail and press "F5" on your keyboard in order to refresh the web page.
If you are able to see your V-Ray license there, please start your 3D application and work with V-Ray.
Note: We can see that you installed V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max, in order to work with this build, make sure that you have the latest V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max license,
otherwise, you will need to downgrade and download and install the corresponding build according to your license you have.

If any issue appears, please send us a screenshot of the issue and the web page "127.0.0.1:30304".
      Thank you.

        Hmm...
        • Yep, the latest version of the server software is installed.
        • Nope, I can't enable the Online Licensing.
        • Yep, I'm logged in and nothing changes.
        • Downgraded to NEXT and got an error message when I started Max (attached).

I do still have an old dongle that I can pop in, if that might help. Though your link to the WIBU key software needs to be updated.

Oh that's interesting. Even though I'm logged in, the license server page does not show my user name, only my machine name.

Could you please do the following in order to clean and re-install the V-Ray Online license server :
            1. Please close the Services window in your OS(if it is opened) and uninstall the V-Ray Online license server from your Start menu>Control Panel> Add remove programs
            2. Make sure to delete the folder C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\VRLService
            3. Go to the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup" and delete all files and folders except "vrlclient.xml", which is needed.
Please download and install the V-Ray Online license server 5.5.2 from our web site:
            https://download.chaosgroup.com/?platform=47&product=48
After the installation is completed, please check if the V-Ray Online license server status page "127.0.0.1:30304" is available and you are able to click "Online licensing" >Sign In and enter your e-mail/username.
Note: We can see in our database that your license is V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max, which means that you can install V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max build and work with it.
If any issue/error appears, please send us a screenshot of it and another screenshot of the web page "127.0.0.1:30304".

            Thank you.
