Upgraded to Vray Next - Slaves Cannot Find Licenses
Upgraded to Vray Next - Slaves Cannot Find Licenses
Everything was working fine with version 3.6. I've attached the License Manager page. I have Max 2019, Vray Next with a client and server license and purchased and additional license for another render slave.
So my setup is 1 workstation (client) and 2 renderslaves (servers).
I have tried all of the typical workarounds and have not been able to resolve the problem.
I just saw an email that the license server has to be upgraded. I assumed that was done with the Vray Next install. I will do that when back in the office and see if that solves the problem.
Thank you, the problem persists and its really holding me up. I even upgraded my renderslaves to Windows 10 like my server. But that didn't do any good. Now I can't even see my machines on the network
Having the same exact problem. I also bought the workstation and additional render node. Shouldn't the numbers say INTERFACE: 1 and RENDER : 2? Mine also says 1 for both and am now getting the same 1002 error.
On my Vray 3.6 I bought 1 workstation and 2 other render nodes. The License server says INTERFACE 1: and RENDER : 3.
Mine is definitely a licensing problem. I have gotten 1 render node to work while the 2nd node still comes up as unlicensed. So my server and 1 node participate in the DR and the 2nd does not. It also crashes Max when render is done trying to use both nodes.
