  • Pdplayer 1.0.5.21 released

Pdplayer now offers numerous enhancements and new features

Pdplayer, the professional image sequence player and viewer for the 3D, CG and VFX industry, distributed by Chaos Group now comes with a full list of improvements.

Now this advanced image sequence player offers you:
    1. Improved cross platform integration with Nuke (support for Nuke 6.2)
    2. Support for AJA for Windows
    3. MAC OS X and Linux trial versions
    4. A number of improvements and fixes

The sequence player is famous for its flexibility, exceptional ease of use and lightweight, despite the rich list of features. It supports most industry standard file formats including EXR, HDR, DPX, CIN, R3D, TGA, SGI, IFF, PIC and VRIMG. Multiple layers can be color-corrected and composed together in real time.

Pdplayer is a great addition to numerous studios’ pipelines. Here is what Blur team shares on their experience with Pdplayer:
“It's insanely FAST to load image sequences, has a logical layer system, useful hotkeys/functionality for managing those layers and sequences, handy color space and image adjustment controls, it can apply alpha masks for quick dirty comps, and has fun paintbrush tools for notations per frame. Pdplayer is all around awesome product.”
