  • Wispy smoke through a thin tube - cigarrette smoke as an example.

Hi. I've had limited success with smoke following a helix. The look just wasn't correct and the smoke was too blobby/chunky. So I tried using the cigarrette smoke setup and path follow but the partcles do not follow the way the smoke did. Any ideas how to do this?
    Regards

    Hey,

If you use a Cigarette smoke preset together with the Follow Path force make sure that the force is affecting the Temperature channel (it should be by default).
Here is a sample file how this works - it's for Max 2016 - if you need an older version let me know.
