  • How to melt a multicolored object with melting also it's colors (as assigned by UV)?

Is there a way to melt an object including it's colors?
Imagine I have a painting made of wax, which melts to fluid...
Currently I see only ways to do it with monochrome objects, but I would like to involve the colors, too.

(I'm now using Maya and 3dsMax, so it could use tools from either of them)

    Thanks

We are adding it to Phoenix 4.0 This would be possible by using the TexUVW which we added int he 3.99 Beta and now we are adding an option for it to inherit the UVWs from a geometry.
