  • Particles [Liquid] of [Phoenix FD Liquid 001] shading

is it possible to shade :

Particles [Liquid] of [Phoenix FD Liquid 002] using the particle shader, similar to how fog/splash/foam works?
i tried hooking it up , but nothing renders.

I know you can use another fire/smoke simulator to load in vorticity from flip "special" output and shade that way...but i was thinking i could just use the "liquid particles" with velocity data to shade aswell

    cheers

    Hey,

Yes - this should be working. Can you show us your settings or attach a scene so we can check what is going on?

    Thanks!

You can take a look at the Fountain scene which uses the exact same approach here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...cenes-Fountain

          ....so
i had to delete phxshader and Particles of Liquid, and add PHXFOAM and point to my grid again.

          it now works

          thanks
