Pre version 4 of Phoenix FD for 3dsmax 2021

Unfortunately, we're still on the older version and I cannot find the installers for 3dsmax 2021. Is it available somewhere?

Hey,

There are no Phoenix 3 nightly builds for 3ds Max 2021 yet, but they are in the to do list. It will take some time until they are out, but once they are ready I will update the thread.

I too would like to ask regarding Phoenix 3 for 3ds max 2021/Vray next. unfortunately I couldn't find the build in that link you mentioned, is it still available?

The build is there. Do you see any builds when you open this link? If not, then you might no have permissions, so you will have to email support at chaosgroup dot com for access.

I do see builds but I can't seem to find PhoenixFD 3 folder or builds in there, here's a capture of what i'm looking at when i click the link.

Yup, you can't see neither the builds (I mean the zip files with the installers), nor the phx 3 directories. So yes - drop a mail to support so they will grant you permissions

On a side note it seems that its been a while since this phoenix 3 nightly support for 2021 has been out, why not make it available for download on the official page? All this time I'm thinking I need to purchase the latest Vray 5 and Phoenix to get this working in 2021.

We gotta do an official release of a new version of Phoenix 3 in order for the builds to end up on the download section of the site, and so far there hasn't been much demand about it. Initially I thought about releasing Phoenix 3.15, but now this became very unlikely... Still, the only difference between the builds on the site and the nightlies is that nightlies might have some bugs, but if you find any, let us know and we'll fix them
