Added the scenefile above if anyone finds it helpful.

Note that this two simulator version does render much slower. Note I also changed the step% slightly on the wispy version just to avoid any Z-Fighting if the two simulators were in the exact same position (like they are). Not sure if this helps, but it doesn't hurt.

I kinda like this method. It seems like you could easily do the type of smoke trails left behind by, say fireworks and such. A separate, light pass that has very little velocity on its own other than turbulence, and perhaps a little directional wind would be nice to get it mainly on one side, which might be a nice touch.

I like to experiment when I have a moment, and I learned something playing with this. So thanks for the thread!

Thanks very much - and you're welcome. Copy that regarding the Z-fighting. Good to know. Yes, I'd imagine it'll render a bit slower, like with other combination sims I've done. Is there any chance you could back save your test to 3ds2019? I'm a perpetual holdout.

Here you go. Note I am using the latest Phoenix. Not sure if that will open on an older version or not.

It opened w error, however it picked up the params. The setup is as you described. Will apply the idea to my sims. Thx again.

Hey, my colleagues were able to up the detail on the scene by changing only the settings of the turbulence:
                  - Pressure mode was off, please turn it on
                  - the scale of the turbulence was too large, please decrease it, or it would create too large vortices which will not contribute small scale detail
                  - the strength of the turbulence was too low - please crank it up!

                  Hope this helps

                    Hey Svetlin,

Thanks very much for the RnD on that. I tried a lot of Turb. settings, even until the the whole sim got really noisy and rolling was destroyed. Would they be able to share the Turb settings that found this sweet spot? or perhaps post back a 3ds2019 file? Thanks again!
