  • Solid Object Ignore Feature

    Hi all

I've had to create an object above a jacuzzi I'm making to act as an extra bit of wall (so the fluid doesn't go over the top). This extra bit won't be rendered... it's purely for sim purposes.

What would be useful is if you could control objects to collide with some fluids and not others... For example, I'm about to create some steam over the invisible wall.

I haven't used smoke/fire before so all this is assumptions

The invisible wall will have to be hidden when I sim the smoke. But, if there was an 'ignore' feature next to solid objects, that would give the user more control

    Hey,

In this case you can use the Scene interaction rollout in the Fire/Smoke simulator. By default it is set to exclude and if you add the invisible wall object to it the sim will ignore it.

You can find more about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ke+Interaction
