    Hi Georgi,

Thank you for the reply. I'll try to use a different test subject next time. In this case I see the "canyon" with both the ship I made to be closed geometry as well as with the teapot.

I checked the settings of my simulator and they are set to 0.0 Default Viscosity as well as 0.0 Surface Tension. I believe I did the test using all settings at default, except the grid size, resolution, and ocean fill at 50%. All other parameters of the simulator I left alone.

I made a second test where I set the WaveForce fluid freedom at 0.2 and the canyon wouldn't remain there and closed pretty fast after the object, but I'm worried the liquid isn't splashing around the object as much as it should... Also as I increase the fluid freedom, the wave pattern inside the simulator isn't matching the outside pattern that well.

I'll try reducing the Scene Scale and see if that helps.

Aloha, This is my first post in Chaos and I am trying to get basic information. Most of my work is with oceans and waves but I cannot create them in Chaos Phoenix and / or V-Ray. Pretty bad huh? Anyway, is there a current ocean tutorial that provides basic information in relatively clean English with 2025 product? I can figure out most problems but it is really difficult to follow blazing cursors and fast thick accents using dated product. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Mahalo in advance! (I do love the accents though, it is just that I have a hard understanding them regarding Chaos at high speed.)

BTW, part of my problem was my Chaos activation which was corrected. I am sitting here with a V-Ray Plane in a simulation for the whole plane but unable to create parameters for waves because I cannot find any input option values for any size mesh and getting the mesh to create waves. I have sailed (surfed) 16 foot swells between islands, so I know what I am looking for. I just need to replicate it and I know that Chaos can do that for me. Mahalo again! Aloha
