I've always made sure that Phoenix nightlies are open for everyone so that new features and bug fixes can be used immediately by everyone. Whenever there are new 3ds Max or Maya versions, I've usually not been in a hurry to release officially because everyone who writes to us has been satisfied with the nightlies until the official release comes. In fact during our official release testing process for the past couple of years we've never found blockers with 3ds Max or under Windows - usually there are Linux or macOS issues affecting Maya because we don't have a developer working daily on those operating systems.
I can confirm that we will be moving the official release sooner, but as always - if you have any issues with the software, ping us and we can usually solver anything urgent in a day or two.

- Are you installing a nightly from this day? https://nightlies.chaos.com/#/phoenix5max/nightly/20230509
- Are you installing Phoenix for V-Ray 5 or V-Ray 6?
- Did Phoenix work ok for you with another 3ds Max version before?
- Are you installing in the default location - C:/Program Files, or somewhere else?
and finally, if you type "env" in the start menu and choose "Edit the system environment variables", then "Environment Variables..." at the bottom, what PHX_FOR_3DSMAX***** variables do you see? Here are mine for example:
