I'm doing a sim of waves coming ashore. Is there any way to remove the mesh of the sim that is below the ground, that isn't seen? Just trying to optimize things.

You can use a render cutter to cut it off. Just create a dummy geometry like a cube for example, and pick it as a Cutter Geometry in the Rendering rollout of the simulator, then enable the checkbox for Invert cutter - this way everything that is inside of the box will be cut off.Georgi Zhekov
