Water waves

Hello,
I want to create a water drop that create waves, so far create only two weak waves. If I increase the size the splash in huge, but the waves are weak.

Can you show us your settings and the results you're getting?

Generally to get more waves you will need higher grid resolution.

The drop is 4 cm in this simulation.

In order to get this much detail you will need more grid resolution, lower scene scale and probably more steps per frame to compensate for the lower scale.

Also your surface tension is quite high, you can lower it to something like 0.5 or 1.

What I would suggest is to use a displacement to add the detail in the sim - you can use a gradient ramp in radial mode and animate it over time. This way you won't have to use very high grid resolution and many steps per frame that would require quite a lot of time to simulate.
