  • Cloud rendering of fluids

    Hi folks.
Can you render a liquid simulation with PhoenixFDPartShader bubbles using Chaos cloud rendering?
Do I need to export .abc and if so how do you keep the bubble data from PhoenixFDPartShader?

    Many thanks.

    Hello,

It should work out of the box.

Just send the scene to the Cloud and it should render directly.

Hi there. I did try it.
It works for single frames in the cloud but not for animation, I got this error. Renders fine locally.

// Warning: V-Ray : Unable to find the Liquid Simulator for ParticleShader1
// Warning: V-Ray : Unsupported plugin for .vrfiles export - "PhoenixFDCache", switching to .vrscene version 1

I guess the cloud export isnt loading up the .aur cache sequence, Do I need to change to Maya mesh in the rendering tab?

OK I got it, yes I do need to change the Maya mesh that worked this time. Bit new to Phoenix and cloud rendering.
          Thanks
