  • Fire simulation lighting intensity = something like the light multiplier in Vray

    Hi all,

i ve been wondering whether it is posible to control the amount of intensity that the fires created with Phoenix FD affect its surroundings.

i know you might say that i can control this with camera exposure but there are situations in which one needs to control how strong the light coming from fire is itself...without disturbing the natural look of the fire...for example a single candle in the dark room enviroment.

can you give me any tips on this please???

Hope i explained this well enough for you to understand.

    Thanks a lot

    Best Regards

well, this feature is sheduled long ago, and still does not exist, shame on me. currently you have to change the emission diagram, that you can do for the entire diagram pressing ctrl and catching the diagram in the left border, where the mouse becomes up/down arrow.

it's no shame, you're just stretching yourself too thin ...
if Chaos is serious about the future of Phoenix - you need help!
you already have two distinctive programs in one(gas and fluid), if it's just you alone trying to keep up with both at the same time, not only it will take a while, but the results will keep creating new waves of complaints/suggestions before you can implement the old ones.
          Keep Going!
