I am simulating a pier being smashed by a boat, and I need to create the ocean surface with splashes and foam. (3dsmax)
But I don't even know where to start, creating an ocean surface.
The pier is simulated as mParticles, and then baked as lots of animated boxes (they have a fixed buoyancy level, so they bob naturally up and down about where the surface would be).
