  • Fine rising bubbles

The company I am freelancing at just got Phoenix to do a beer commercial.

I was wondering if there is a way to create the fine rising bubbles that you get from imperfections on the glass.
I assume you can do it by agitating that area of the liquid, but then your liquid is agitated.

My other option it pflow, but not sure if it will feel like the bubbles are then part of the foam system.

Would love if it could be added as a helper for instance, where you could say at n number of vertices generate fine foam.

    Thanks

you can create foam with the phoenix sources, there is an option for particle creation and you can select the type of the particles. another option is to create them by script, or just to use PF, the foam shader is able to render pf particles as well.

thanks will give the source a try.

So far very impressed with the speed and ease of use.

Thanks for the great stuff you guys at Chaos do.

Create separate pass with desired foam particles by modulating discharge with a map, that will drive particle birth.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
