  • UVW for simulated liquids

    Hi
    I'm probably just not seeing the button but how do I handle the texture of a simulated liquid. Say I want to make magma or cement that flows.

    the explicit mapping is useless, you have to use the particle texture, see this thread for more details, see the particletexture example atached in the thread.

        The example file behaved very strangely but I read the instructions and it worked just fine.

          1. I get a warning saying " Could not blend the particles! Please make sure they are exported with an ID channel! "
          I don't get that warning the first time I run the sim.

          2. when using the particle texture I can only select one system but I have multiple source objects for my fluid. Does it matter? Can I select multiple and how?

              About my second question. When picking the particle system to be the source for the particle texture. I have a source that emits fluids from four different objects.
              (Since they are animated I can't merge them into one.) Should I be able to pick multiple particle systems? Does it matter?
