  • Kill plane

    Hi
Is there something like kill planes in Bifrost.
where you could add objects and say kill the contents of simulator if they hit
    this object.
The interaction set works in a way but the contents dont exactly get killed.

I just checked the help file and grid gizmo looks like the solution.
But is it implemented in Phoenix for Maya nightlies ?

What content do you want to clean? If there are no particles involved and it's just smoke and fire, I think it's better to just use a brush source on the geometry that needs to erase content.

Set the source's discharge to 100%, set it into brush mode, enable the channels you want to erase and set them to 0 for smoke and 300 to temperature. Exclude the emitter geometry from interacting with the simulator form the Scene Interaction panel ,so the brush mode can kick in and this should do the trick.

yes, you can use a brush source set to zero smoke.
