    Does anyone know a good tutorial on how to make a tornado?

    you can use the max vortex force, or if you have nightly you can use the follow path force, it gives the ability to make the tornado pipe curved, not just a straight line,

      I created a more stylised tornado as that is what the client wanted but I suppose it could be a starting point.

      If I remember correctly I used a basic mesh to get general shape which twisted over time. I emitted smoke from that mesh but also had particles which rotated around the same object moving upwards, emitted from these also. To help keep the shape I think I used a follow path linked to the spline which was originally driving the basic geometry. The base was just a vortex max force being used with particle flow and a separate emitter. It's basically everything Ivaylo said with particles as well
