Afternoon! Back to that age old problem with re-timing smoke sims.
For example, I am using the large scale smoke preset. Sim the base with velocity exported. Chose re-time based on slow down and set the new play speed in the input panel. Begin resim... all detail will dissipate away as explained in docs. Whats the best way to try keep a similar result? The preset is already set to Multipass. Should I crank up the AMP resolution or something.
Wish it was a bit more like fume's retime, generally don't lose the look (details) of the base sim unless retiming under 1 or so. Not used fume in a long time now though :P
It's just a static scene, no moving parts etc.
Here is the 'slow down' version on the left and the one on the right just has the playspeed set to the same value of 0.25.
