    Afternoon

    Wanted to check the workflow for looping. I have simulated 0-100 frames of a fireplace including velocity and vector origin.

    1: Input panel -set loop mode, set cache origin to the frame I want it to start e.g. 50
    2: set play length to amount of frames I would like it to play for before looping, 15
    3 set overlap to 5

    Do I need to use frame interp, velocity or precise tracing etc? Or does it still need running through a resim?

    At the moment getting something like this which shows the fire shrinking even though frames 50 and 65 are very similar and not shrunk like it is in the loop. (sorry for AVI ! )

    Adjusted to play length 25 and overlap 25.. seems to work quite well.

        But in this case it looks like indeed the loop segment was too short and had too short overlap too..

          Yea I followed them steps originally, I assume correctly! Think it looks ok, I was asked to do 15 frame loop, told them they can have 25 then speed it up

            Nice Is there a visible change in temperature in the preview and in the maximum temperature in the cache content list using the 15+5 loop? Also, which blend mode did you use in the video?
