  • Why does liquid move so fast

Hi we have a small scale scene even with gravity set at 0.7 liquid moves really fast. SPF are set at 18. Do we need to change time scale? If yes then why - all proportions are correct. Thanks

    Hi,

Perhaps the Scene Scale is too small. Set the gravity back to 1.0 and increase the Scene scale several times.

hi and where do i find the scene scale. is it the same as time scale? I really thought if proportions and sizes are correct you dont have to do all this. Thank you

Hmmm, the movement looks fine to me compared to how fast the strawberries fall as well.

The Scene Scale option is in the Grid rollout...

Btw, if you want to make the liquid particles not slide wildly on the geometry, you might enable Wetting, set the Consumed Liquid option to 0 so liquid particles don't try out when leaving a wetmap, and boost the Sticky Effect option to a high value. You will need to dial in a very very small value for Viscosity in order to make this work, so it's a bit of a hack..
