Hi there!
I just started using Phoenix FD and am working on some water simulations for a bathroom.
I ran into some obstacles, which probably are pretty basic. I want to apologize in advance, and would appreciate every hint pointing me in the right direction
Overhead shower:
The water is being emitted from a lot of tiny circles. It looks pretty much like I want it to, the only problem is, that the drops are emitted in the same intervals.
This is apparent when you look at the water from the side (like in the screenshot) - the drops are too regularly on the same level and have gaps which are exactly the same size. Is there a way to randomize this?
Faucet:
I'm using a faucet where the outlet of the water is not pointing straight down. This means, that the water is coming out at a specific angle, and therefore pretty fast.
The water is being emitted from a couple hexagons.
I first tried to increase the outgoing velocity of the emitter - but this causes the flow to spread out when it gets too fast. That's why I introduced the follow path helper to make the flow go exactly where I want it to (along a spline).
What I can't get right yet, is the look of the flow/stream and the splash where it hits the sink. Either the flow looks right - then the splash is not happening - or the other way round.
Any ideas for the right settings?
This is how it should look like in the end:
Thank you in advance for any help!
