I have been doing tests with max 2020 Phoenix 3.12.01 329028 and I am not getting those lines. Um is there something different in max 2020 version?

Any news on that topic? Seems it's showing up again in a simple boat wake scene, Phoenix4

Nope, we need to reproduce it on our side in order to fix it. If you have a scene that helps reproduce it, please send it over It's about issues with the ocean border conditions, which might show up in tons of different cases - we've fixed more than 5 of these already since Phoenix 3, but if you come across more, we need scenes that make it break. Note that with rotating simulator it's very likely that you'd get border artifacts, but with straight line movement it's not a know problem if you get such.

Looks like in my scene it's only at the beginning.
When the boat and grid have speed, the artifacts dissapear after the beginning frames.

Thanks for the scene, we have reproduced it. We will update the thread once we have something.

                  Cheers!

Does it make a difference if the movement of the grid is in perfect increments of the cell-size?
                    (maybe even at spf?)
