    hello,
there is attached my rendering result and the real photo I am after.
could some one explain me how I am able to make my water thiner? right now looks too thick.
    thanks!

Hey, so you could either do this with simulation, by reducing the cell size of the simulator, or you can do this at render time with the data you have already simulated - check the Rendering rollout -> Mesh smooth -> Use Liquid Particles option - there you can control the Particle size that is used for meshing and thin out the liquid mesh.

    Hope this helps!

      Hey,

You can check out our example scene here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...eScenes-Shower
And here is a tutorial how this works - https://vimeo.com/353845822

thank you!!! going to check it right now and show you my result!!
another thing I´m struggling is render time. When I render the image with phoenix, the time goes skyrocket!

The rendering part really depends on the scene - if you render foam and splashes you could probably change the mode of the Particle Shader to points which will speed up things.

hey! I did this but the render came the same as before.

Looks like you need to lower your cell size even more. You need more grid resolution.

yes, in gray material, look really low res. these are my settings.
I needed to reduce the foam generated and leave it only where the water hits the surface but went too much and dissappeared from the simulation. which setting do I have to look?
                there is attached my settings.
                thank you for your help

Just a quick question - when you enable Use Liquid Particles and set the particle size, did you also increase the Smoothing to more than 0?

For the foam - you need to play around with the birth threshold. You can take a look here for more information on how the settings work - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/PHX3MAX/Liquid+Foam

I think, its getting better.. now I need to tweak the splashes and foam.
