Can you send over a simplified scene, so we can check what is happening?
Also, could You install the latest Phoenix 4.41 Nightly, because we are constantly adding fixes and we did some changes related to the Foam behavior that may affect Your scene.
I have sent the scene by email. I hope it's not too much simplified.
I'll try later installing already purchased Phoenix 5. I think it's not a good idea installing new versions in a middle of a project. I have few projects going on at the moment.
The Include List is enabled in the Scene Interaction rollout. This means that the Simulator will only interact with the components that are added to the List.
So, You have the primitives, but the Source is not added and the Simulator does not interact with it. Adding the Source to the Interaction List should do the job.
I didn't realize, it had to be included too. I thought it was part of the system. Actually I never tried the include list before. Normally I use exclude list. On this case the include list was easier to create.
Yes, when You are using the Include List, You need to add everything that You want to interact with the Simulator - Sources, Solid objects, Forces, etc.
Cheers!

I have also Phoenix 5 license. I thought, I test this with another workstation on the same boat scene. So I see the Phoenix 4 licenses on both workstation. However I see The Phoenix FD 5 license only on the workstation where it isn't installed. Maybe I should have chosen to use the network license instead of the recommended local.
Edit: after couple of install/uninstall I see it now on on the other workstation as well. Let's test now if the results are different.
I'm jumping into this very useful topic, trying for the first time the new boat setup (but also with waveforce).
I'm on Maya 2019.3.1, Vray5.2.2 & Phoenix 5.00.00
I cannot seem to change the center of mass. After moving it, as soon as I start the sim, it jumps back to original position. Or do I have to change it the very first time before the phx_clone is created ?
thanks !
[EDIT] Override center of mass checkbox is ticked in phoenix attributes (hull mesh)
Here's my first comparison between Phoenix 4 and 5. It seems I get more foam with Phoenix 5. However I wonder how to get more foam to drive unit stream.

Hey, just wanted to confirm - are you changing the center of mass on tbe original or on the clone?
Btw, we are thinking about just using the pivot of the geometry for this...
