  • Body Force Exploding

    Hello

I am trying to recreate this nice effect using body force
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seDgL0egRZw

but as soon the particles touch my body force object, the get pushed away (exploding)
and yes I have unticked the "solid" box on the body force geometry

is there anything else I should think about?

    thank you
    Martin

Hey, are you using the liquid morphing scene from the docs site?

supacool - it just needed to reduce the spread speed down to zero - thanks

Hello - I would have another question.
Rendering Foam with full, great, cool Refractions is only possible in GPU.
Or can I activate something to make those bubble to make them full refractive
            thanks

              Hey,

May be you meant CPU instead of GPU?

The Particle shader bubble rendering is still in progress using V-Ray GPU.

As for controlling refraction - you can adjust the Bounces in the Bubbles options. You can find more info here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...lular/Splashes

thank you so much - it is so much fun developing a phoenix project with the great support here at hand

                  there is another question
I would like to archieve this nice seperation effect
one drop is dividing into two, and the moment of seperation there is this nice "sandclock" look

                  https://vimeo.com/460583222

using body forces I dont get it right
the particles are not draged into the center of the attractor objects
                  they mingle in the middle

getting this effect right would be the essence of a whole animation project

here a link to the playblast and Maya 2018 scene
                  thank you
                  so much

Can you attach the files as a zip archive? Othewise the forum can't recognize them and now only the screenshot is available.

yes - I found it on my own - I had to set the Max Distance to a apropriate value - so the effect is limited to an area
