  • PhoenixFD freaks out with any modifier asigned to it

    Hello,

I have a weird behavior with phoenixFD and a modifier and rendering in vrayGPU
(I posted in the vrayGPU section already, as I wasnt sure what could cause the problem...)

Here now I tested a bit more.. and this also happens with a turbosmooth asigned to the PhoenixFD object.
the first frame always renders fine, but all the others get messes up. Strange thing is.. it even is visible in the viewport then !
it only get clean, after I move the time slider.

Please look at the video I recorder on youtube: https://youtu.be/E_nBn3rMbjg

    Hey,

Thanks a lot for the report. We reproduced the issue and logged it in our bug-tracking system.

Will update the thread once we have something.

Thank you for the quick response.
I found a workaround in the meantime. When you cache the PhoenixFD with alembic, you can use all modifiers without any issue.
Is it an additional step, but works as a solution for now.
