Has something changed in current vray 6 version regarding save as exr as I am having strange random output when opened in ps. As you can see on attached image upper part is semi transparent, below again the black background to show how it suppose to be. I had that case in different scene few days ago. Reopening scene helped but it should not be solution. 3ds max 2019.

I have found a problem. I am rendering my vegetation separately, treating everything else as matte to avoid fringes. For some reason it keeps the setting for alpha on -1. I did a test. Created 2 boxes, set it as matte and alpha contribution to -1. Then I select one box and remove matte check and set the alpha to 1. After that I select all and remove matte check (I see 3 dashed lines) and set the alpha to 1 again. The setting of the other box keeps alpha on -1 state and that is the reason of my output. I cannot change to setting on number of object if one of them has different value. Can somebody check this on different 3ds max? Maybe this is only 2019 thing

Hi guys,
Thanks for the pointer - after all, it looks like there's an issue with changing V-Ray properties values of multiple objects/lights/cameras at once, and it is already logged under VMAX-13230. You can also refer to this thread on the matter.
We'll let you know once it is fixed.Last edited by nikoleta.garkova; 18-04-2023, 12:33 AM.Nikoleta Garkova | chaos.com

I know it was couple of days but maybe it is in nightlies builds already? Selecting object one by one is driving me nuts.

Hello,
Stable nightly build 32041 and later should contain a fix for this (https://nightlies.chaos.com/main#/vr...e_6.1/20230422). Sorry about the inconvenience.
