  • Prevent trailing when using a high res cascade container

    Hi All!

Hope any of you could shed some light on this subject. I have two containers, L and H. L has a lower res sim, while H is high res and connected to the L via cascade.

Each time the liquid in L breaks into a lot of small droplets, these droplets form long streaky trail when entering the container H. It almost feels like container H 'thinks' of these droplets as little emitters.

See attached images for this problem. You can clearly see how the droplets from container L form long streaky liquid in container H. How can I make sure the upressed resolution in container H isn't causing the droplets to form these 'emission streaks'?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

Hmmm, would it be possible to send over the scene? Looks to me like a bug.

    Thanks!

      Hi Svetlin,

Thanks for responding! It basically happens in each setup where lot's of free frying droplets move from a low res container into a high res one. It isn't just this scene. I'll prep a basic scene for you if that help debug this problem.
