  • Solid surface grid artifacting

With regards to fluids in transparent containers is there any way to reduce the amount of grid artifacting visible on the surface of the liquid in contact with the container wall?
The attached image shows the problem clearly (Invisible glass, and grid using oversized cells) however reducing the cell size doesn't make the problem less noticeable (just smaller and more numerous lumps)

Is there some way of getting better interpolation/averaging between the discreet cells?
Note: reducing the Advancing step has no visible effect on the this kind of surface rendering (other than increasing render time!)

the only way in the official version is to use a material with the same refractive index that will hide the artifacts, or non transparent vessel.
there is a "smooth inclined surfaces" option in the new upgrade that removes these artifacts, however it's not available yet.

I will give the IOR method a go!
Are you able to suggest how long it might be until the new upgrade?
