    the development is not going on straight line, sometimes we add parameters then remove them, beside this we are about to separate the liquid and the smoke simulator. when we are near to the final view, then the features will be transferred in maya.

      Any suggestions for dealing with the original issue then? Or is this to be expected with a liquid sim without the FLIP core? Thx

        usually the input panel smoothing and the mesh smoothing was used to resolve such issues, and also less sharpness of the liquid combined with decreased level of the isosurface. that's why i asked you about this level, some the old scenes are with low value. but hopefully we can add the flip soon, i will talk with the coworker who is in charge to do this
