  • Render crash on irradiance map prepass.

    Hi!

I have a problem rendering my scene if there's anything other in the scene then the simulator. If I put any object under water, so refraction comes into play, the irradiance map pass crashes with an "unhandled exception error".

    I use vray version 3.20.03
    Phoenix nightly build 26171
    Windows 64 bit with 3dsmax 2016 64bit.

Any suggestions what might cause the problem?

    from the vray log:

If I create any object that is behind the foam, it crashes. Normally the ocean bed is there, but that is not included in this scene. But you can just create a sphere and it already crashes it.

no at all. the scene does nothing, ther is no movement, no foam is born, nothing to render. can you send us a cache file that produces the crash?
