  • Viewport lag on simulation before frame 0

Hi!, I have found a problem related to performance (viewport), it becomes insanely slow when I have a simulation done before than frame 0, is almost imposible to do anything on Max, but as soon as you move the time line to something over 0, Max starts to work correctly again, so is just when I scrub the timeline before 0, kinda weird. By the way, Im doing this because I need to have to simulation on an advanced state before some characters starts their animation, but for now I had to move the animation of the characters forward in timeline so I can start the simulation on 0 and no in a negative value.
Don't know if someone has the same issue.
    Thanks!

    Hey,

Are you using official Phoenix 2.2 or a nightly? Is this a liquid sim or a fire sim? Do you show mesh in your viewport, or you use the cell preview? Do you have GPU preview on?

    Cheers!

Hi!, sorry I forgot to be more specific about settings and stuff. Im using 3dsmax 2015, nightly 26604 (previous versions has the same problem), is a liquid sim, and without or with all the preview elements the problems happens (mesh, liquid grid and particles) and no GPU preview because is a liquid sim.
      Thanks!
