  • Liquid retime

I'm just checking, as I am not getting a good result when retiming liquids.

I am exporting grid velocity and particle velocity/ID. I am then switching my other container to cache index and keyframe from 0 on frame 0 and 200 on frame 120. Set the interpolation to Velocity and it should just work ?

Anyway, getting flickers of particles all over the place on the interpolated frames.

    Thanks!

Edit: Actually hold fire while I preview the mesh! It would appear some rogue particles sitting on the container edge are the issue above. Shall see what happens as deleted that area of the mesh with a slice modifier

Yep, looks like it is some rogue particles clinging to the container edge, easily fixable... ignore this post!

      Hey,

Interpolation should be just the default, we should hide this control from the user interface - it doesn't affect the liquids, it's working only for the fire/smoke solver now.

If there are still issues, please give us a bump. Btw you should expect particles disappearing abruptly when they exit the grid, but the issue in the video does not look like it..
