I usually leave an old build on the farm (normally can last upto a month or so) until I get any artefacts or unusual behaviour on the render nodes... then bring it back up to date with a latest nightly. Saves me updating 20 nodes every time I get a new nightly on the workstationAdam Trowers

yeah we have 100 nodes and I dont have control of what goes on them. Its also a hassle to get updated software on them unfortunately looks like Ill have to stay with my current build but its good to know that there are some options being worked on that will help me in the future when there is another version update thanks for your help though everyone

this is the last official release, so it's not quite probably to be related to the pattern force, but is probably related to the falling speed, try to decrease it.
i know this sounds weird, but the falling speed actually controls the air friction, decreasing it you will get bigger friction and therefore the foam will not fly too high.______________________________________________

yeah I have been doing test all week and I have the rise speed to zero and fall speed down to around 2 and it works better thanks but seems like the foam particles fall slow now and its not very realistic or may be I just need to make the fall speed really low and role with it thanks for your help
