  • scanline render not supporting foam/splash motion blur?

    Hi,

Very quick question: I couldn't render out motion blur of my foam/splash with scanline renderer. I am using PhoenixFD 3 for 3dsmax. So scanline render does not supporting foam/splash motion blur?

    tks much!

as i remember scanline produces motion blur by rendering several frames in different time and blending them, phoenix has ability to blend frames when they are not in exact time, but it requires the ID of the particles to be exported.
so, try to export the ID and if this does not resolve the issue send us the scene

It never worked before Phoenix 3.0, there was no blending either. For 3.0 I ported the way Phoenix works with the V-Ray motion blur for particles to Scanline as well, so if you have mb with V-Ray and without changing the setup you render with Scanline and MB is not there, please send the scene to Support
