Cancel calculations

Apologies if this has already been addressed - I couldn't find anything.

Is there a way to cancel the render calculations? E.g. I accidentally set something as bubbles and the optimising congestion phase is legthy and I need to cancel out and adjust.

Sure, just cancel it and it should stop the rendering process.

Sorry, I phrased it badly. I don't want to cancel the render itself but way before that point, when FD is calculating splashes etc. There is no obvious way I can see to do this...ESC or similar.

What if you press the cancel button? Does it still continue after that?

Yep, I had to end task as it was going to take hours.

Seems like there is some miscommunication. You should see a progress bar, saying Optimizing Congestion, etc. There should be a Cancel button. What exactly happens when you press it?

There is no cancel button on the version I have , only a narrow box with the ''optimising.....'' as this grab shows.

AHA! i just saw it when I uploaded this image - it's obscured by the rest so I missed it completely. Maybe there is a way to change that box size?

Ohhhh, this is so messed up. What is your exact Windows version, and do you use any display scaling or a 4K/high-dpi monitor? We gotta break this here and make sure it's fixed...

Yeah it's 3040/2160 monitor, which I figured might be the problem. Win 10 home 1903 build 18362.719. EDIT: Scaling is on - forgot I had that checked, so that'll be it I guess.
At least I know it is there and it is clickable, so no major worry/rush
