      Ah ok...I didnt realise it made it out of the nightlies. My bad! I assumed it was going to be kept back for official release with v6.

        We don't do that. If it's ready to use and people need it - we ship it with the next possible release.
        If it was that easy, it would have already been done

          Hi Paul,

          Please check the nightly folder for Phoenix 5, the particle shader can do bubbles and splashes on GPU, it works by using a material(will look different to what you get on CPU)
          There is still room for improvement, we will do more work on this after 6.0 is released
